“This is one of the four famous Ooyee (Wuyi) mountain teas and is a precious rock tea (blue tea) with a light and delicate flavor. Da Hung Pao also known as the Big Red Robe and it is a semi-fermented oolong. It is believed to have healing nutrients that treat stomach ailments in traditional Chinese medicine, it is known as a “stomach tea” or “digestive tea”. Da Hung Pao has a golden yellow liquid and a long lasting aftertaste.
Temperature: 190F, Boiling first then let water sit for 1 min; Use: 1 tablespoon per 5 ounces of water; Infusion time: 4-5 minutes.
Temperature: 165F, Heated; Use: 2 tablespoon per 6 ounces of water; Infusion time: 3 – 4 minutes.Â
